About us

Palmiye Wood Decoration is a furniture and joinery workshop in Istanbul. On this site we present our work for thermal and spa hotels, a type of project where comfort, natural materials and resistance to humidity have to come together in the same room.

Thermal hotels combine ordinary guest rooms with spaces that are warm and damp for most of the day: changing rooms, treatment rooms, relaxation lounges and the areas around pools and baths. For these spaces we select moisture-resistant boards, seal every edge and choose finishes that tolerate steam and frequent cleaning. Ventilation gaps, raised plinths and suitable hardware help the furniture keep its shape.

Each area has its own list. Spa receptions need a welcoming counter and display storage, locker rooms need lockers, benches and vanity units, treatment rooms need storage for linen and products, and relaxation areas need loungers and side tables. Guest rooms follow the general concept of the hotel, often with natural wood tones that echo the spa.

We visit the site, measure each space and propose materials before production starts in our workshop. A sample unit can be prepared for approval. Our installers fit the furniture in place, coordinating with tiling, plumbing and electrical work. For hotels that stay open during renovation, we plan the work area by area. Doors for wet areas can be included in the same scope. Send us your plans and the list of spaces to receive a proposal.
